Small mattress school

No claim to completeness as this would lead to too much. For private individuals this declaration does not replace the visit of a specialist shop.

Hardness 2 goes up to a body weight of approx. 80 kg. Hardness 3 of about 80 kg to 120 kg body weight. The size of the person must be considered.
Example: A 1.95 meter person with 90 kg can take a hardness of 2.
1.50 meter tall person with 80 kg must take a hardness of 3.

Spring core with approx. 110 springs per square meter.

The advantage of spring core mattresses is the very high moisture absorption => Good for highly sweating persons

The disadvantage of spring core mattresses is that the springs can only be adjusted with their spring diameter => The more springs per square meter the better the adjustment. However, no exact fitting, as with foam or latex mattresses

Spring core mattresses are not suitable for motor frames

Pocket spring mattresses have about twice as many springs as a spring-core mattress, about 250 springs per square meter. Each spring is packaged in a “pocket”, hence the name of the pocket spring core.

Compared to the spring-core mattress, the spring-loaded spring mattress has a more precise body fit due to the higher number of springs. Otherwise, the advantages and disadvantages of spring core mattresses also apply to the pocket spring core mattress

Lath grating with at least 28 ledges required.

1000-spring pocketing core have about twice as many springs as a spring-loaded spring, about 500 springs per square meter. At 100×200 cm => 1000 springs

Very low spring diameter therefore already a very good adaptability => better than with pocket spring core

Otherwise, the advantages and disadvantages of spring core mattresses also apply to the 1000-spring spring-loaded spring mattress.

Lath grating with at least 28 ledges required.

No heat has to be added during production, hence the name Kaltschaum. In contrast to the spring core, foam has a point-specific adaptation. Through cuts in the foam, softer zones can be produced in a mattress, e.g. Shoulder zone. A further possibility is the combination of different foams or foam strengths, see e.g. Mattress Denver to allow softer or firmer area.

Suitable for motor frame

Lath grating with at least 28 ledges required. In the case of less moldings, the foam is pushed too much through the moldings and cracking in the foam can occur.

Viscose foam behaves somewhat “sluggish” as cold foam => when the viscose foam is pressed, it takes about 1-3 seconds until the foam is again in its origin. In contrast to cold foam, viscose foam is temperature-dependent. Under approx. 10 ° C (dependent on the manufacturer and the quality), the viscose foam is always more inelastic (solid) => therefore not suitable for persons who sleep in winter with open window.
